Here is an interesting article about—as the header indicates—a cultural anthropology center in Camagüey. Has anyone visited? If you know anything about this centro, please, please comment on it!

just emailed a friend in Camagüey, Aniesky Vásquez, who works for Patrimonio Cultural and also is completing her MA, writing a thesis on the area’s Haitian heritage. Aniesky replied, “Pues sí, aquí hay un centro de antropología pero lo están restaurando y como
tal aún no ha comenzado a brindar servicios.” She also mentioned that she and a colleague, musicologist Heidy Cepero, hope to interest the Center in highlighting the culture of Haitian descendants in Camagüey once it opens.
